Immerse
Hello. This is a resources I have found to be very helpful to families, relationship, children and youth. As we take time to immerse ourselves during holy week (March 28-April 3), in God, His word, His way, His worldview, these resources may be helpful. So prepare to let go of secular music, movies, television shows, and literature and focus only on entertainment, music etc. with a godly spiritual foundation. As it is written in Phil 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true,…
Holy Spirit is saying, “all that you think you know is all wrong”. Stop seconding guessing me, doubting me and most of all stop being disobedient. We do not know love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, or goodness because our natural nature is evil. Holy Spirit wants to build something new in us but we keep getting in the way. He is saying, “Help me to help you”. “Get our of my way and let me work”
Returned last night from the “Walk to Emmaus”. It is truly a blessing to see men of God break bread, pray, and experience the love of God for an entire weekend. When we are able to truly experience the love and grace of God towards us, in spite of what we have done and who we are, it truly brings tears to our eyes.
Jesus said His father can send 12 legions of angles if He wanted. What does that mean? 1 Legion = 6000 angels 12 legions = 72000 angels In one night an angel destroyed 185,000 soldiers… Isa 37:36. Using this as a bench mark, 72000 angels can destroy as much as 13,320,000,000 soldiers in one night. That is almost 2X the population of the earth in one night. Yet, Jesus never called upon that power. Why? LOVE
The Devil tempted Jesus three times: to provide for himself, to protect himself and to depend on the Devil to give Him every thing as far as the eye could see. Do we ever consider that the reason Jesus never fell into temptation was because He knew who He was and that He was absolutely secure in His identity with God the Father and Holy Spirit. Everything the Devil offered, Jesus already had.
Today’s message was based on the topic of reconciliation. Forgiveness or repentance is not the same as reconciliation though they are involved. The reason reconciliation to each other is so important to God is because God is love, “for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, cannot love God whom he hath not seen.” 1John 4:20
It was so great to sit and be ministered to by my wife and one of the other elders who spoke at church on Sunday. They spoke about the worldview and how it is educated based on sin and God’s view that is educated by God. Can we tell the difference between a view educated by a life of sin and a view that is educated by God?
On Sunday the service was dedicated to pray and praise. In light of the violence we have seen this past week. Many try to get to the root of where the problem is. Many try to make sense of it, blame the perpetrator, mental health, gun control and even God. Why did God allow this to happen. Lets get real and place the blame where it belongs. Satan. He hides in plain view and leads the deceived to believe he…
